Consider i am writing a test in the SSISUnit Test editor, if i have an almost similar test that basically varies in Asset, i might want to copy the earlier test and paste the details, rename the test and add the extra slice of assert. Since copy paste is
not supported with in the Test editor, i might alternatively open the file myTest.SSISUnit in an xml editor and save changes. The trouble is that the SSISUnit test editor does not realize that the file has actually been changed and continues to work on the
older version of the file. The only way to get around this is to re-open the file myTest.SSISUnit in the test editor.
You could store the last modified timestamp of the file myTest.SSISUnit and validate that against the version loaded in the test editor. In case the file version changes, similar to what visual studio does, you could give a classy pop up notifying that the
version has changed and validate if the user wants to load the more latest version.
What do you think?
